THE NEIGHBORHOOD of Manitowoc County is a continuum of living for individuals experiencing homelessness in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Our goal is to end homelessness by helping individuals to transition to self-sufficiency and independent living. Through community partnerships, we will oversee numerous living situations in multiple locations.

The McKinley Window Restoration project is the first step of a continuum of living that supports residents on their path to self-sufficiency and independent living. A key component of this effort is the rehabilitation of the historic McKinley Building into 36 affordable apartments—an important step toward addressing Manitowoc’s growing need for housing and strengthening the community through collaborative action.
We invite our community to be part of making this vision a reality. Phase One, “Framing the Future: A New Vision for McKinley,” requires $1.5 million, with $1 million already secured through generous donations. The full project is expected to cost $12 million. Your support will helping raise funds and closing the gap will help bring safe, stable housing to those who need it most. Together, we can restore not just a building, but hope, dignity, and opportunity for our neighbors.
Your donations provide vital resources and support for those in need. Help us make a difference in our community.
